UAL/uni hardship fund
how does the hardship fund at unis, specifically at ual. it says it’s for students with families who earn under £45k, but can i only apply for it if i need help instantly, for example if i’m running out of money and can’t pay for food. or is it a general fund i can apply for to receive in september.

It is a general fund that you can apply to as long as you are enrolled as a UAL student. The payment will be assessed in line with a full academic year. Please see the link for the guidance
