Maths pure help
Help I don’t get why it’s 3 roots as the answer I mean it could be one too, as a change in sign happens

It is asking for the option that is impossible [which one of the following **could not** be true]. In that case, there are many graphs you can visualise with one root, two roots or three roots between 1<x<2. However, the correct answer should be no roots, since that would be impossible given the sign change
