I need advice on accounting.
Im in gcse and want to do accounting so my first question was what grades do i need to in gcse and a levels to get a good job in accounting or if it doesn't matter too much. Also i have heard that for uni you need to go to unis like london or something like that to get into a good firm however i just wanted to go leicester uni so is that ok or do i need to go to a good uni to get into a good firm.

I am a current student at UCLAN studying accountancy and have friends who have managed to get into top accounting firms such as PWC and Grant Thornton. So the answer is no you don't need to go to London unis to get the best firms it will all depend on how much work you put in and whether you complete a work placement in one of the top firms.
Regarding GCSE and ALevels it all depends on the unis you are looking to apply to as each uni will be different with grade requirements.
