oh okayyy i’m still debating about accom as to whether i should do the qm accom or private bc idk i just can’t get over the fact that it’s shared bathrooms😭😭 but i feel like to socialise within the course and get the “qm” experience it’s better to stay in their accom, but i’m still unsure

We are in around minimum 2 days a week but sometimes it can get up to 5 days if lectures are spread out and have clinics that week. Clinic are done by groups so groups A-D on one week and E-H on another. It is mainly lectures (usually in Whitechapel) but there are also group seminars for the professionalism module. I am making a YouTube video breaking down what you learn in QM dentistry soon.
In terms of people on the course, everyone is really friendly here and we have had icebreaker sessions but the guys and girls usually stick with each other.

Hey Hari, Just wanted to ask if you understand the processes and events after receiving an offer, such as do we complete our DBS and Medical questionnaire only after making QMUL our firm? approximately when we are planned to move into halls as freshers? and in the summer holidays there are any events offered to bare in mind? Thank you

Hi, for the DBS I remember getting loads of emails in May about getting my police checks and DBS and I only firmed in June so guess it’s before you firm. For halls, you move in start of September and all the uni events start at that time as well. There may be private events before but they probably aren’t worth it.
