What is a 1 to 1 from DSA?

I've had my DSA assessment and a DSA assessor has recommended a 1 to 1, what is a 1 to 1? I've heard you can get a mentor from DSA is a 1 to 1 a mentor or different?

I think its probably the same thing. Someone you'll be seeing one to one on a regular basis.

heya, I've had a 1 to 1 specialist mentor since 1st year (I'll hopefully be going into 3rd year in October). Basically, they check in with me weekly either via videocall or phonecall (you can choose  ). My sessions with the tutor usually are about how I'm getting on, which courseworks I have, organisation, that kind of stuff which I find quite useful.
I'm not sure if this differs from someone who would physically join you in lectures/seminars/labs like a notetaker or aid. although apparently, it does happen from time to time.
