A hole in your CV where you don't account for what you have been doing will be a major red flag for a HR professional looking at your application.

I am not 100% sure about this, but I suppose you would have to include your qualifications in your CV, in the 'Education' section or whatever. It would be best to check this with your university's careers advice service.
