Architecture portfolio for Cambridge, UCL, and Edinburgh

Hello,

I am currently doing Photography and a bit of DT on the side for my a-levels, and was planning to comprise my portfolio mostly of these, with perhaps one or two pieces of fine art. Will this be okay, or will I be disadvantaged with these art forms as Fine Art is seen as the standard?

Thanks

you need to check the portfolio guidelines for each university - they will all have different requirements/rules

One of the unis my son applied to didn't want any photography (it might have been Manchester but I'm not sure). In general, unis want to see a range of skills.

If you Google manchester uni architecture portfolio blogspot, you will be able to see examples of portfolios submitted by undergraduate applicants.

Plymouth uni has some portfolio examples on its website:

Also, take a look at the following thread where there is a lot of good advice on developing a portfolio:

from what I've read I don't think UCL wants a level work, they're more interested with work you do outside the course. I was gonna include a lot of my dt work but ig they're not interested in that
Think it's more spatial work that they're interested in like Kim Jung gi style art.
