Sending Evidence too late?

Good morning all, I have applied for student loan (both tuition and maintenance) for BSc Dietetics course that is starting in September 2023. I have been asked to send my Passport, Biometrics residence permit and Marriage certificate by post.

I can post these by next day delivery but I am going away on 16 August and I definitely need my passport before this date. Will it be possible to receive my passport back before this date ?

Or should I wait until I come back on 12 September to post it ? Will it be too late in that case?

Hi there, The current expected processing timescale for evidence of Identity to be processed and returned once received is 10 working days. This is an expected timescale and can change daily. So it is possible based on the current timescales that you will receive the passport back before the required date. If sent once you return it will just mean that your application will be placed on hold until all required evidence had been received and processed.

Thanks for your reply. If I send my passport on 12th September upon my return, could this cause my maintenance loan be rejected or significantly delayed for being too late?

Course start date is 25 September 2023
