Remote dissertation

Hello everyone,

I'm an international student and currently thinking of completing my dissertation remotely in my home country since the process after supervision meetings do not require any on campus activities.

Would this be possible in UoM? Because I've read Glasglow alllows their international students to do this for their disertation.

You need to ask the Module Leader, as it is they who will allocate you a supervisor. I'm not at UoM but i know that online supervision for final year dissertations and projects can be done online. However, you may also be required to attend research skills sessions in person (though you imply this isn't the case). So you need to ask locally so that you don't fall foul of the rules & regs.
