Net income needed to enjoy London

Generally what net income is needed (after rent, groceries, travel cost and utility bills) to have a life in london where you go out every other night (few drinks and 1 or 2 meals out a week), enjoy the theatres and museums etc and go on 2 holidays a year. Some people in London seem to live this lifestyle easily.
this is literally just my opinion but id say maybe around £23K?

Start by breaking down the costs of those aspirations. How much would you spend on an evening out involving a few drinks and a meal; multiply that by the number of times per year. Ditto going to the theatre - how much for a ticket, interval drinks etc. Then look at holidays - how much would you estimate those would cost depending on where you go and what you like to do.
