I am currently enrolled on a BEng engineering intergrated foundation year
So that’s 4 years
My course also has an optional placement year and a choice to do the intergrated MEng if I get the grades in second year
If I was to input this onto student finance when apply for second year
Would this show up that I changed course on student finance England and I wouldn’t get funding for the last 2 years
Or would I be able to get funding for all 5 years

And that course is 4 years with an extra added placement year

Yes, that's fine - if you only have one year of previous study you'll be funded for any new course, even if it's 4 or 5 years long.
