How much is the bus fare with the 18+ student card

I currently use an oyster card with railcard discounts, but the discounts are mostly for train and at peak hours but i have to pay £1.75 for buses still. With the 18+ student card are bus fare lower?

Is this in London? If so, then no. The Hopper fair remains at £1.75.

The assumption is that 18+ students will be making the same journey regularly (to/from college/uni) are so will take advantage of the 30% weekly/monthly discount available.

I'm confused so even with the student oyster card bus fares are £1.75?
