Do you fix scratches on your car

I park on the street as I have no driveway. I have noticed the odd scratch on my car, is there any point getting them fixed?

Hi young man!
Whether you repair these scratches depends on the age of the car, the depth of the scratches and your own preference. If they are not prominent, or even if they are slightly, I would not pay a garage to fix them as they will charge you a lot of money for labour. I would just fix them yourself. You can get a small scratch repair kit for just a few pounds e.g. Aldi used to do one, and get a can of the correct paint for your car from e.g. Halfords. You can check on the inside edge of one front door when it is open to see the colour code for your car, or you can get this online by entering your reg number.

The Aldi pack has full instructions on how to do the job - it should take 30-60 minutes for a small area of scratching.

Go for it! - It is good experience!

They are a natural part of wear and tear as a car ages, don’t worry about it
