How are people finding/have found Warwick? I really like the university but i am uncertain as it is kinda in the middle of nowhere and not much of a social life

What sort of social life are you looking for that you think is missing at Warwick? If anything, being a campus means things are more centralised and sociable, since everything is always right on your doorstep. There are hundreds of different societies and sports clubs, plus all sorts of other events and options for socialising outside of that, and since most people live on campus within 10 minutes walk of each other in first year it's very easy to get to know people and arrange your own socialising

If you're looking more for clubbing, then yes that will be more limited than at a big city uni, but there is still a club on campus (plus a pub and a bar), and easy commutes to all of the pubs and clubs in Coventry and Leamington, and even Birmingham if that isn't enough for your tastes.

The campus setting and "middle of nowhere" thing won't suit everyone, but I personally see it as very convenient. I get to live in a pretty area surrounded by nature, everything I need and all my friends and lectures are in close proximity, yet it's still very easy and relatively quick to get to Coventry/Leamington/Birmingham/even London since the transport links are good.

okay thank you! what accommodation did you stay in/which accommodation would you recommend?
i guess it was more just that there isn’t a town within walking distance so i wasn’t sure if the people there would be that sociable.
