How much are people paying to get insuranced on this at 17

Insurances are at ridiculous price right now,

I paid about £2.2k at 17 y/o for my 2012 Hyundai i20 and the insurance was with black box 😭.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if your was about 2k + or something

Or just be a named driver aka driver on someone elses insurance very cheap! sometimes free ask your parents to take the insurance on their name and you be second driver!

It can oddly go either way, mine went from £1600 odd to £450 this year, and it's not like I'm a new or young driver. (Insurance fronting is it's own illegal thing and I wouldn't recommend advocating it here)

OP - There isn't honestly much point in asking what other people pay, it will always be calculated based on your own circumstances and each insurers specific attitude to risk.

I can’t imagine there are huge numbers of 17 year olds driving them tbh.

And for those that are, Mum and Dad are probably getting involved in a lot of cases :smile:
