Just out of interest, would chemistry be as 'respected' as Physics and Chemistry for Economics at Trinity?

Chemistry is a great A-Level to have. However since I'm more of an artsy person, I prefer the Maths, Further Maths, Economics and History combination!
Yeh History would balance out all that maths.

Big up History!

Politics is more essay based than history if you're interested. Especially at A2.
Thank you very much for your help, Sam. It is really very kind of you.

So my combination will be fine...hoho....going to do as much Stat as I can next year...

Do you think I should pick one more essay-based subject next year? I am very interested in RS...

Cheers!

I don't see why not. I completed a 5th A Level (French) in Yr 12. Its fairly essay based...at least my school made it so...but at the same time it wasn't overly time-consuming

My general advice to all future applicants is pursue as challenging a subject combination as possible (provided that you are confident of getting As at the end of the course.) With competition as strong as it appears to be at Trinity, it will be sure to impress. Also, it will hopefully prepare you for the rigors of University.

I have now handed in my option form and I have chosen:

Economics

Good Choice!

If you would like to take a look at what my interviews were like, here's my profile.

(sorry about the last paragraph being repeated...I had typed up something similar for my head of Sxith Form as advice for future applicants and I copied and pasted twice  )

Looks good. Almost identical to mine. Good luck.
Well, I am one of those lurkers.

I haven't posted because my offer is from St John's. Nevertheless maybe somebody can answer my question: I am looking for Part I course outline, can anybody tell me if there is a website I can get it?

Thanks in advance

I believe it's only available from within Cambridge.

Hack in or ask someone nice to send the files from the page to you.
Thanks

...following from a question posed on another thread...

Which calulators are Economists allowed to use at Cambridge? Doesn't the university not allow you to use certain brands?

Thanks

For the above examinations candidates will be permitted to use only the standard University calculator CASIO fx 100D, CASIO fx 115 (any version ) or CASIO fx 570 (any version except the fx 570MS). Each such calculator must be marked in the approved fashion.
