has anyone applied to cardiff university. what was the written test like. i have 4 months experience as support worker so far and I'm still working there. would cardiff university still accept this?

Hey there! Sorry you haven't got any replies for this yet!
So the Clearing House information for Cardiff says this:
"A minimum of 9 months full-time (or equivalent) experience in a healthcare and/or research setting relevant to clinical psychology. At least some of this experience must be direct work with a relevant client-population.
Types of experience include (but are not limited to):

•

Work as an assistant psychologist

•

Work as a psychological practitioner or therapist

•

Research experience that involves client contact

•

Roles where direct support is given e.g. healthcare assistant, care worker, youth worker"

In regards to the written test, we have a postgraduate open day coming up! It's worth coming to that and asking possible staff members and students if they had any insight to that question. Our next one is 22nd of November, you can find more info here.
