Is English Literature or Language A-level better for someone who loves analysis?

I adore analysis and would like to study theoretical physics or neuroscience as a result, but out of English literature or language, which would be more suitable as perhaps a 5th option based on my preference. Furthermore, which subject do you think is most analysis intensive?

Literature, without a doubt.

Analysis of what? Literary analysis is very different to what is done in a physics or neuroscience degree.

I wouldn't recommend taking 5 A-levels at all in any event- you don't get "bonus points" for doing extra A-levels.

A-level English lit is only required for a literature degree. A-level English language isn't required for any degree, although may be of some relevance for linguistics.
