Changing to Welsh A level

Hi, I'm currently in year 12 doing biology, chemistry, eng lit and media studies. I'm thinking of dropping media studies for Welsh if my school allows it. Please advise. I had never done Welsh before year 9 and I got an a in my GCSE. I think I enjoy learning languages. Thank you ^_^
If you did well in the GCSE then that's suitable preparation. But it's pretty far into the academic year so you may not reasonably be able to catch up anyway.

However it's worth bearing in mind language A-levels are known to be very high workload subjects. You are also already taking four subjects which is generally not recommended outside of combinations with maths and further maths.

I would honestly recommend just dropping media and not taking a fourth subject at all - if you wish you can continue with your Welsh learning as an extracurricular activity alongside your studies then. Or drop media and another subject to take up Welsh.
