newcastle entry requirements for english?

hi i want to apply for an undergrad at Newcastle Uni in English Literature but don’t know if i’m eligible.
the requirements say AAB.
i have an A in english literature a level,
i have a B in history a level, and a Distinction in BTEC Creative Media which is equivalent to an A grade.
would this be ok or does this course reject BTECS?

Our English Literature BA Honours programme will consider applicants who have BTEC qualifications on an individual basis.
