Cambridge Maths

I am in Year 11 and I am going to take FM, Maths, Chem, and Bio for my A levels
I really want to study maths at Cambridge but I know that it is extremely competitive
I have done UKMT exams in the past and have done averagely (I have only got into the kangaroos, never any olympiads), and recently I got a Distinction in MOG
I also want to know what supercurriculars will enrich my mathematical knowledge and abilities
Having taken a look at the STEP papers, it is safe to say that I am thoroughly bewildered but I want to know what I should do to improve
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
You're fine, just don't apply to Trinity.

There's no reason the STEP papers would really make any sense to you since you haven't even started A-level Maths.

Youre in y11, so concentrate on your gcses, but there is a list of some cambridge supercurriculum stuff at
https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/super-curricular_suggestions_2.pdf
and there is similar info for oxford, ... and I like the tony gardiner book
https://www.openbookpublishers.com/books/10.11647/obp.0168
as one possible book to work though. But there are many you could read/dip into and a history one is good to dip into as are some of the more pop books by stewart, du sautoy, ...

Dont think about step until y12, then the step foundation modules are a gradual lead in. You could look at some of the nrich or recreational maths problems this year if you wanted to.
