Migrant worker: pre-settled to settled status and work requirements
Hi, I have been getting a maintenance loan as an EU migrant worker with pre-settled status. This means I need to be continuously employed or self-employed to remain eligible.
My question is, will I still be required to work/be self-employed once I switch to settled status?

Hi there,
Once you have been granted your Settled status and send us a new Share Code along with the new Home Office Letter then you would no longer need to provide evidence of your employment. This evidence can be uploaded from your online account.
