NatSci interviews

Hi, I applied to Cambridge for Chemical Engineering and Biotech (under NatSci). I have not recieved an interview yet and I am getting really panicked. We haven't recieved our NSAA results yet. Has anyone recieved an interview yet applying for NatSci?

Hi! I also panicked for a long time but got an interview invite yesterday for natsci at lucy cavendish. I think just give it time cause different colleges give them out at different times? But yeah same question here: Is an interview invite based on the admissions test results or just your personal statment? I'm pretty sure my nsaa went down the drain but we don't have our results yet, so I'm kinda confused as to how they decide who to interview.

I applied to Lucy Cavendish as well! Congratulations on the interview I hope it goes amazingly! I am getting slightly worried but I guess if it's not a rejection yet so Im trying not to think about it. My NSAA was honestly horrific but I just saw somewhere that they don't base whether you get an interview or not on it. Would you mind me asking if you applied for biological or physical?

Hey! Same situation here. I applied to St John’s for biological NatSci and still no interview. I really hope they don’t look at the NSAA too much because that was a disaster.

Same it was honestly way harder than any past papers. I regret not emailing asking for special consideration at this point. I'm not kidding you after question 11 on section 1 maths i ended up having to fill in random circles i had absolutely no time

Yes I did the exact same thing. When I was doing past papers I didn’t find the maths section too hard but on the day half of it was just random guesses. Anyway we’ll find out how badly we did next week

I applied for biological! But also I haven't heard from anyone else who applied to lucy cavendish so if it's not a rejection I'd say there's still hope!! And yeah they probably look at the NSAA and interview performance at the end holistically so hopefully my interview will give me a better shot.
