Hi everyone, thought it would be good to have a Law offer holders' page so we can all discuss! What Cambridge colleges have you received you offers from?

I have a Newnham offer! I'm still doing my A Levels so at the moment I am focusing on those but might dapple into some more light law reading over the summer but mainly relax and re-energise haha! What about you?

no, i applied to queens and got an interview invitation last year, but didnt attend them, sadly.
big congratulations!
did they still let you list topics of interest before your interview?

Thats amazing! I also got an offer for law from Hughes! How do you feel about the college? From what I've gathered it's not the most prestigious, but it seems like a friendly bunch!

i actually like it a lot except for the location. it seems like an over 20-minute walk to the law site.
the accommodations also seem smaller than what the traditional colleges offer
but the staff have been really friendly to me and the interview process too

did you interview with hughes too?

Yes, they did! I love how they allow us to talk about topics related to Law that we are the most interested in. Did they do that for your interview to Hughes too?

no, unfortunately,
but it was interesting interviewing at hughes too!
I still regret missing the opportunity to discuss my topics of interest with the queens' faculty last year though

Fair enough - I'm sure I'll grow to like it a lot once term has started! I actually got pooled to Hughes, initially interviewed at Corpus, which I thought went well... but obviously not well enough for them to take me haha! I'm happy to have received an offer from Hughes though, as for the distance it's only an 8 minute bike ride so it should be managable! :smile:

International, econ business and math
my personal statement was mostly academic (discussing case laws and legal philosophies, and mentioning a piece of non-law written work)
