U.K Citizen Medical Treatment abroad

Hi
whilst doing a 1-year distance learning course, it says we have to reside in the UK to remain eligible for our student loan, even after being in receipt of it..?
I have to go abroad for medical therapy as I cannot afford it in the UK and the wait times are too long anyway.
Will I still be eligible for my next loan payment?

Hi John,

If you are not in the UK while studying even if it is a distance learning course then you would not be eligible for funding.
