Hi there. Normally, you wouldn't be eligible for the Maintenance Loan for time not in attendance. However, if your university tell us you are suspending due to heath reasons, we can awarded an extra 60 days of funding.
If you wanted to apply for more than this, and were in financial hardship due to the suspension, you may be able to apply for payment through suspension from our Financial Hardship Team. More information can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-if-you-suspend-or-leave/getting-student-finance-while-you-suspend-your-studies
