Unit 4 Health and Social

I study BTEC health and social care Level 3.2 - unit 4 is the external assessment. Part A is the research and Part B is the exam. There is only one article about Stroke care. I haven't been in college for medical reason and the teachers haven't helped at all. We are doing Part A now and if anyone has any good articles for secondary research I will very much appreciate it.
Thank you

So far for mine all I have done is copy and paste different information about Stroke care in the UK. I used the Health and Social care Revision guide to put some things about the methods in the research and then research about the ethics about stroke care. That's all I've done.

I've been told this is a new unit, and even teachers are finding it hard to teach the students, so I'm not really looking forward to doing the exam but yeh I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to be studying for the exam 😭😭😭

Look at the references at the bottom at the article, there likely to have some articles that can help. If not just google stroke care in the UK. I found an article on MDT on a stroke ward by rcpjournals

What's the topic you've been given? The full title of it? I always advise people to do research before the set 3 hours (or whatever it is) so you don't have to rush and can take time finding sources and making notes.

its stroke care could be improved when patients , staff and researchers work together
https://evidence.nihr.ac.uk/alert/stroke-care-improved-when-patients-staff-researchers-work-together/
This link includes some helpful information about a research trial that was conducted on the topic. That is a plain english version. Original version was a medical journal: https://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/11/1/e042723

https://typeset.io/questions/how-can-stoke-care-could-be-improved-when-patients-staff-and-1qnxvyjajo
Some research about a model that can be implented to help care. Possibly a thing to mention?

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4590569/
Medical journal with some good information about strokes in the abstract. Talks about multidisciplinary care.

https://researchinvolvement.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40900-022-00386-2
Talks about engaging patients in the research process.

I got these from doing a google search of "how can stroke care could be improved when patients , staff and researchers work together". If you need any help referencing these then I can also help with that, as I know medical journals can be difficult sometimes
