Question about round 1 and round 2 for Chelsea application

I saw on Chelsea's page about their MA in Fine Art that the deadline for round 1 is tomorrow, and round 2 has a later deadline, on 3 April. Am I right in thinking that this means I don't have to submit my application for tomorrow in order to be considered and can wait until round 2? Or do you have to have submitted something by this stage in order to make it into round 2 in the first place? Sorry if this seems like an obvious question. Thanks for any information.
