Hi
) I’m Rain, I’m currently at college doing my A-Levels. I figure it’s probably a pretty good time right now to start working harder, so here’s what I’m trying to do!!
Predicted Grades:
Biology - C (aiming for B)
English Language - B (aiming for A)
Psychology - C (aiming for B)
I did NOT take people seriously enough when they said A Levels were more difficult than GCSEs Jesus Christ. I would say I’m not infinitely stressed out by the presence of two C’s in my predicted grades but that would be a complete and utter lie!! And yes, I know, don’t put too much thought into it, I’m only a term into college.
Goals for this term:
- Revise core practicals (biology) - I’m really not great with those (I also missed two of them which can’t possibly help)
- Practice exam questions (biology and psychology)!! Exam technique is literally my Achilles heel, every time I think I’ve finally got it down it just comes right back to haunt me.
- Memorise all the main names in language representations, gender and occupation (English language) - there are too many Deborah’s around these parts, and I’m so insanely tired of hearing about Lakoff’s Lak-of empirical research.
Long term, I’m looking to study psychology at Sussex Uni!
Overall, I’m coping!! I believe!! I think my learning may have been stunted a bit back in November, when I took a few weeks off after my dad passed away, but fingers crossed I’ll manage to get that time back by working extra hard now!!
And uhhh… I think that’s just about it!!
Hello TSR!! (Never in my life did I think I’d end up on this forum I will not lie)
