Uni of Bath vs Uni of Nottingham

I want to study pharmacology at university, both these unis seem to have very similar courses and rankings.
So I am more interested in to overall quality of the social experiences, sports facilities and the city life of each Uni
Which one is 'better'?

Very different Universities - Bath is a smaller campus Uni that focusses on STEM and Business/Management subjects, so you get the best possible facilities / expertise within a smaller environment. Its a modern campus Uni so it has a good 'village' feel and this is a cosy friendly environment especially for first years. Student support is good - 'no-one left behind' - and available when you need it.

Sports facilites are probably the best in the UK - its a training centre for Team GB / Olympics etc - and its available at every level, from elite athletes, to those who just want a relaxing swim at the end of the day.

Social life - nightlife is not as mega as at a bigger Uni in a large city like Nottingham, but Bath makes up for that with theatre, cinemas, museums, galleries, music gigs, pubs, cafes etc, and amazing shopping - and its a World Heritage city because of the Roman and Georgian history. This suits many people as its an easy city to get around and get to know.

If you get an offer for Pharmacology you will get am invitation to a Visit Day - like a mini-Open Day with a tour of the Uni, subject info, chats with current students etc.
