Maths help!!

Hi
Need help on this question
4/x < x < 1/2x+1
I know the method but keep getting answers that just don't align at all? Like for the first inequality I had x>2 and for the second it was like x<-1 or -1/2 <x < 1/2?
Feel like this is maybe some kind of stupid error, I just couldn't see it at all!!!
Cheers

Not sure what the second inequality is (where is the +1) but there should be two regions for
4/x < x
I'm guessing you assumed x>0, when solving it?

You've not said what the 2nd inequality is but for
4/x<x
When x>0 you get your interval and when x<0 you get x>-2. So if you're still stuck post your working.
