My friends and I want to go clubbing at the weekends not during the week this year, and nowhere seems to ever be busy/have a good atmosphere except for Heidi’s or circo on a Friday. Are we missing something or is there really nowhere else that’s guaranteed to be lively?

Hi there!
You might find at the moment especially that most people are hibernating from the cold! And might be feeling a financial pinch after Christmas and New Years, meaning a quieter nightlife scene.
There's always Nightingale Club, which I always enjoy - not always crazy lively, but usually a good crowd there. I think Heidi's is a good shout, like you said. It might start to pick up a bit more as some students haven't started back at uni yet too.
Hopefully things start to pick up soon!
