Best accomodation for Edinburgh Uni?

I'm (hopefully) going to UofE if I get an offer, and I'm curious about the best accommodation. I prefer a self-catered, ensuite apartment close to George Square and with a good social life, and, I've heard Pollock Halls are the most highly rated, but I noticed they're catered. Does anyone have any recommendations? Budget isn't a problem for me

i applied a couple weeks ago and got haddington place on leith walk it's supposed to be quite nice and has a common room and en-suite bathrooms :smile:
