IS he just being nice?

He opens doors for me, and he picks up things that I may have dropped. He also called me "very nice" in front of others. He also sent me have a lovely night ! yesterday with smiley faces.

I also think he has a girlfriend... so is he just being nice person?

Yes hes just being nice. Your way too much of an overthinker. He's just being generally polite.

I couldn't agree more! Politeness alone doesn't necessarily indicate attraction. While being courteous and respectful is certainly admirable, it doesn't always equate to romantic interest.
