how does choosing accomodation work

when do you choose? do you choose for both your firm and insurance or is the choice after getting results back? for cambridge, do you get to choose what court/building you're in?

Usually you just choose for your firm although some will let you apply for insurance. Just because you apply for a certain hall doesnt mean you will get it. Universities will deecide if accommodation is oversubscribed.
