Hi!

Could I please ask for some more clarifications:
Are those percentage grades? Are your 40, 42, 44 and 77 grades all worth 1/3 and the 60, 60, 80 therefore are worth 2/3?

I'd be happy to help.

Yes

I thought Chester based classification on the best 100 credits in each of second and third year?

I’m a mental health nurse , we have placement but I’m not sure if they count, this is why I’m confused :/

Consult your course handbook and degree regulations. If you're still confused then post a link to them here.

So here is what I got:
We can simply add up to find the averages since the modules are worth the same number of credits.
Average for 2nd year: 50.75%
Average for 3rd year: 66.67%
Weighing the averages now: 66.67x2/3 + 50.75x1/3 = 61.36%
This is not quite accurate, because this calculation is assuming that you only have 3 grades in 3rd year.
Furthermore, to clarify: you only have 80 credits in an academic year?

This means that theoretically, you are just about within the 60-70% bracket for 2.1 at the present moment. This is not definite because the university might calculate it differently and I am prone to errors.

Hope this helps, let me know if I made any mistakes
