Can't apply with 3rd for Cambridge Second Undergraduate Degree?

It's been 10+ years since I graduated from my first undergraduate degree in physics with 3rd.

I did not have any extenuating circumstances. I was just a spoiled party lover. I was generally lost, not knowing what to do with life.

Fast forward 10 years, I have been working full-time and recently developed my passion for mathematics while taking OU classes. I will be taking A levels and STEP to apply to mature colleges.

However, I have found this phrase on the Cambridge website: "If you’re a graduate with a first or 2.1 Honours (or equivalent) in an approved undergraduate degree from another university, you can apply to take a second undergraduate degree at Cambridge." https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/why-cambridge/support/mature-students/second-undergraduate-degrees

Does this mean my application would go straight to bins? or does it just mean that I won't be eligible for an affiliated student?

It sounds like the former when reading the website, but then I read admissions tutor saying applications with ordinary degrees aren't ruled out, at least not immediately, so I am confused. https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7244982
maybe just try emailing the colleges you're interested in directly or phone them up and ask
