Is biomedical science a course worth studying?
In terms of salary and job opportunities is it a worthy course.
Honestly it depends on the field that you want to go into. I think there are a lot of opportunities because there are a lot of fields you can go into (NHS scientist, research and development, forensics, quality assurance, etc.)
NHS isn't bad money, biomedical scientists are typically Band 5 pay and I think you get more money if you go into private companies like Pfizer.
I think for a lot of jobs for biomedical science it is a matter of working your way up the ladder and for more specialised roles (more money) they'll probably require a masters degree or phd.
