essay/book recs for the causes of the cold war? (A2 cwk!)

I've read
Origins of the Cold War 1941-49 (seminar studies) Martin McCauley (v gd this one)
The World Since 1945 (penguin) T. E. Vadney

and I'm reading We Now Know: Rethinking Cold War History - John Lewis Gaddis.

It is the most confusing book EVER! his vocab, sentence structure, waffling. I don't know what it is - I know he's taking a "post revisionist" view but I still think he's leaning towards blaming Stalin.

ok so to the main point, are there any other good books/essays that I could refer/read to? I need to have at least 6 books on bibliography and other essays, apparently.
preferably ones that focus on the historiography as well as the events post and pre 1945
