Taking 2 A Levels

daughter is in Year 13 , is now only taking 2 A levels due to illness & missing a lot of school over the past 2 years .
Her aim is to go to University (had planned a gap year )
She is looking at foundation courses but also wondered if she’d could co an extra A level (from scratch) online in her gap year & then re-apply ?
How do universities view this ?
Any help appreciated
What subjects is she interested in studying at university?
Most Unis will be okay with A levels split over different years - especially where there is a medical reason for this.
She just needs to email or call each Uni she intends to apply to and check.
