Safest place to live in Liverpool for second year students

Where is the safest place to live for girls in student houses in liverpool. I am concerned when I look at Smithdown road that the crime rate seems high. Kensington is also very bad so wondering where is safe to live as a student that is still accessible to University of Liverpool

I wouldn't put my dog in Kenny but Smithdown isn't so bad in most places.

Totally different ends of Merseyside but Aigburth is ok and was quite trendy (used to be) up the other end is Waterloo but not cheap. Both easy to get buses to and from town to :smile:

Why don't you try one of the privately run halls near the uni? Apollo Court is close to uni and takes second years.
