So much competition, but not as bad as 5,000 applications to University College London (UCL) for Law?! lol :smile:

Yes of course because those applying to Oxford and Cambridge will probably also apply to UCL, but the Oxford applicants can’t also apply to Cambridge and vice versa. So you would expect about twice the number of applicants for a non-Oxbridge but excellent university as for either one of Ox or Cam. UCL will also make far offers than they have places, whereas Ox and Cam do not over-offer.
