It will depend on how exactly your university calculates marks. At some, your 49.63% would be rounded to the nearest whole number before being reported -- so your 49.63% would be recorded as 50% and hence be considered a pass.
But other universities might round down, or might take the exact figure -- and as that's less than 50% you'd be classed as failing the exam.
