I think god and gay are two completely separate things, just because you're gay doesn't mean you can't believe in god. and funnily enough I understand in Islam that everything is already written in your destiny, as everything supposedly is, which would include you being gay!

That is exactly what I don't understand. It has to be true as it is written in the Qur’an then it’s God's decision to make me gay. Right?

I have considered it but that would be unfair to me and the girl ... so no I could never and would never get married to a women.

How else do you expect to change? This is the one way I think you could. And in time, you'd fall in deep love with your wife anyway. Just don't tell her that you're gay or bi or whatever, and in a few years, that 'gayness' in you will disappear.

I think being gay should be only a sexual attraction thing, Is definitely not "Natural".What would happen if all the people in the world found out that they are gay?

Yes on which planet does that work?

Do you think you could rent some gay porn, get a boyfriend and become gay? Actually no scratch that with your level of homophobia I wouldn't be surprised if you were half way there already.

Prove it.

I presume you are Professor of Genetics: Snookercraze
sounds to me like you're going to have to give one up cause you can't be both gay and mulim according to muslim rules right?

you say you are gay, but have you had any relations with men? Have you ever tried to get close to females?

Yes I have had girlfriends in the past and they have all ended badly because on the fact that I was not physically attracted to them.

Genetically, every male is born to have an interest in the opposite sex, and vice-versa. That is natural.

What modifies that in some, I don't know.

Do you genuinely believe that? You advised a gay man to marry a women as he will fall deeply in love with her.

Your backwardness astonishes me.

Well ... I am confused has hell.

I am Muslim, not very religious but I do pray any time I can and go to Friday prayer whenever possible. And on top of that I am gay. I've known for a long time that I was gay but only came to terms with it recently.

I'm not sure if I’m still a Muslim or not because of the fact that I am gay but I still believe in God. I did not choose to be gay, if anything I would give it up just to be normal. :frown:

So what am I to do?

Oh yeah and top of that I am form Pakistan and if my parents ever found out I am gay they would literally chop my head off. The most ****** up thing is that they will probably come to terms with it but they would still kill me just because of the shame I’m bringing to them.

Don't come out to your parents until you are financially independent.
That way, if things do go pear-shaped you aren't relying on them for income, food, and housing etc.

And your opinion counts as proof does it?

Do you know of any research in this area?
How awful that a 17 year old boy has to hide a part of his life from his parents in this day and age, ruins relationships with parents as they can never really be built properly

- well done organised religion and homophobic cultural beliefs that stem from it

No why would I. I dont want to engage those disgusting activites. Don't get your knicker in a twist Jmonkey. Clearly you need help.

Oh no I'm fine. It's just why do you hang around waiting for threads like this just to post the usual unhelpful nonsense?

And the point is neither can gay people indulge in those "disgusting activities", get it?

You don't just turn a switch and go gay, nor can you turn it off.
