I'm positively confused.

About the English exam (Int 2)
I am doing Telephone Conversation, Of Mice & Men & Hobson's Choice.
But i've just realised that i'm not sure any of those are prose.
Because it is right that you do 1 prose, 1 poem and 1 short story isn't it =s?
I'm know Hobson's choice is a play but not sure if it's prose :s-smilie:
So..yeah.
Sure i'll be fine with the close reading
I'm just confused about what i'm actually doing in the exam:eek:
Help? Advice

plays are classed as drama (not prose). so hobson's choice is drama (section A)
of mice and men is prose (section B)
and telephone conversation is poetry (section C)

answer on two of them.

Make sure you answer a Prose Fiction question for Of Mice And Men and not Prose Non-Fiction.

i am repeating what C274 has said, of mice and men is PROSE FICTION - i wrote a non-fiction by mistake for mine and was incredibly lucky to get an A and not lower (that essay is marked out of 12 instead of 25 if you do that)

also only answer on two of them so give yourself about 45 minutes for each

I'm not really adding anything constructive here, but is it not a bit concerning that you don't know this information two days before the exam?

Nope, just two questions.
I also agree with knack here - surely your teacher's talked about it countless times?

As my modern studies teacher said to me once:

'In every exam, the most important page of the whole bloody thing is the front cover. Never forget this.'

It's so true
