UCAS = Universities and Colleges Admissions Service.

It manages your application for you.

So you apply to five universities, and rather than having to fill in a form for each of these places, you fill in your one UCAS form, it sends them off for you and manages their responses (and eventually your responses) all in one place.

Are you an international student then?

unless you are extremely excellent. i know someone who got 6 unconditional offers from 6 ivy leagues, including harvard and yale but still "only" got a cambridge conditional law offer.
