Oh I love photos like these, that are so atmospheric of different places around the world! Hopefully I'll get some of my own when I go to Portugal in June! :colone:

Thanks!

Yeah, the perfect formula is:

DSLR (so you can shoot in RAW mode)
+
LOTS and LOTS of shots of the same thing in a beautiful location
+
Lightroom

Once you have that, you'll get great pictures without the need for any real artistic talent (ie. me! lol)

Neg really? Come and offer constructive criticism by all means but don't just come in and randomly start negging people and not saying why you are

I dunno why I like this picture, always been one of my favourites.
Haven't used my SLR in so long!

Took this tonight, not my best but I quite like it. Any comments/crit?

Some of the talent in this thread is quite depressing sometimes though!
Here are a few I took  I'm not big on photography but i like these ones

My wee pup at 3 months

You are a pro photographer and that is one of your best? It is poorly exposed, soft and the composition is lacking? :curious:

This is in the desert in Egypt, she's one of my best friends hence why I love this photo!

This was taken in Iceland on a school trip, this was a lucky shot, I like this one because of the composition.

This one is my first attempt at an HDR photo, I was quite pleased with the result! Although you can probably spot the poor editing out of the watermarks in the more textured areas :colondollar:
A few recent film shots:

Some moss shot at 50mm f/1.8 with a cheapy macro attachment.

Nice picture! It reminds me of when I walked out of the Learning Grid late at night a few times before exam week, back in December.

Full Size

I took this earlier today, I was at the beach with some friends from work.

Could you maybe make it a bit bigger? I can hardly see it

Why does TSR limit the size horizontally but not vertically? Most people have screens that are wider than they are high...
