I've never been on it either. It's not really geared up for people with degrees (the jobs they try and get you to apply for) from what I've heard. Obv you take what you can get, but it depends if places would hire you overqualified
Yeah, I wasn't there looking for a job. The sort of jobs I was after aren't the sort you'd find at a job center. But you have to show up to the meetings to get the money (which in my case was a waste of time
). As long as you tell them how you are looking for a job, they don't insist you apply for the jobs they advertise.

I was on it for about 3/4 months. It is somewhat soul destroying but it is something you have to do if you're desperate. Being without money can be a massive worry.
