I don't agree with Activision's CoD map packs...but ey, I still play MW3 it's a decent game, could be a lot better though.

There are four maps designed for Face Off. The first two are Aground and Erosion, which will be available to everyone on Xbox 360 for free on May 15th, other platforms will follow later.

Those are the maps they get free. Four of the maps are for the new game modes and two of them are free.

Just ordered this from GAME in their deal of the week. Call of Duty games hold their price pretty well so took the opportunity. I think I'll be too scared to play MP though so I only really bought it for the campaign and Spec Ops...

Do you play on Ground War Domination much? I'll be up for it when we're in a team. Haven't really used snipers apart from picking them up. Do you bother using Marksman Pro for the third tier perk? Wondering if it's worth it as enemies using Assassin Pro kinda mitigate against using Marksman Pro. I do tend to use the MK14 as a sniper but it's good to experiment with newish weapons. Still haven't bothered with shotguns on a permanent basis though.

I'm back by the way. :cool:

Marksman is a must for me on any class with a long range weapon.

Drop Zone is fun for sniping. I was playing the other day and went about 30:10 with the L96 and got a message saying "**** can't you snipe in TDM?".

Well, I've often killed enemy players without having their name showing and have taken chances at shooting at highly likely enemy players when under cover and "out of range". I shot someone at the beginning of TDM on Downturn using my MK14. I was beside the bus on the right behind the subway entrance/exit and shot someone coming down the steps near the tanks. I didn't see much of the player, just some bit of grey moving so I took a shot. I use SitRep Pro so I'm a little loathe to remove it from a class but there's always the specialist package I guess. I'll go back using specialist when I've prestiged in COD4 so then I'll use it in S&D and Sabotage.

I'm surprised at someone raging at you from a DZ game. I always thought that was the "fun" game mode. I'm not too bothered about using killstreak awards myself so I'd be tempted to just pick off headless chickens running for packages with a PP90M1/MP7 or something. It would make using an EMP grenade more worthwhile than TDM, someone's going to fluke an Assault Drone.
