hi, you should use equal amounts of benedict's solution and the solution you're testing (well, thats what im told.) i think if you dont use enough the results won't come out clearly (the colour wont be as strong) if that makes any sense.

and like the previous person said if you use varying volumes you are adding more variables which could affect the validity of the test :smile:

hi again, red blood cells contains haemoglobin that carries oxygen around the body, glucose is carried around the body dissolved in the yellowy part of the blood - the blood plasma :smile:
